The Megyn Kelly Show where Tracey and Megyn discuss the exciting yet alarming digitisation of the self

I was lucky to be invited onto The Megyn Kelly Show last week (on 13th January) to chat about the alarming and exciting aspects of the digitisation of the self. Megyn had some great clips of voice Deepfakes and Chip Girl showcasing her implanted RFID chip, along with some fantastic questions about where this is all leading.

My main message was that the biology of the self and psychology of the self is about to be joined by a third dimension, the technology of the self - the internet inside us. Megyn was particularly interested in 23andMe and how far genetic data sharing has gone. It was a good opportunity for me to warn against the promotion of the new 'Solidarity Approach' to biological data-sharing which is being especially pushed in the WEF's 'Shaping The Internet of Bodies'. I wanted to remind everyone of the importance of bodily autonomy, which is going to become even more urgent as we head towards the brain-machine interface and an era of neuro-tech.
